Then, in the third year, students can begin to gain international experience by continuing their studies at a location other than our Lyon campus. To do so, they have the choice of spending their first semester on our London campus or leaving for the second semester in a foreign university partner of HEIP.
Professionalize yourself through internships
HEIP strongly encourages its students to do internships, starting in their first year. HEIP offers its students a career center to help them find internships and set up their professional projects. To do this, they are assisted in writing their CV and cover letter.
In addition, in the third year, the end-of-course internship is mandatory in the second semester, whether in France or abroad.
HEIP students can do their internship in many institutions:
- Embassies (either at French Embassies in foreign territories or at foreign Embassies in France);
- National and international institutions: National Assembly, Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Foreign Affairs Ministries of other countries, among others;
