MSc Cycle1st year – International Studies
Page updated on April 22, 2022
Diplomacy and International Relations
This first year allows students to acquire and master the traditional approach to the study of international relations and the mechanisms of contemporary diplomacy. The courses explore in depth the political, legal and economic aspects of the foreign relations of states, but also of the European Union. The MSc Diplomacy & International Relations program provides rapid access to positions of responsibility in the private and public sectors: political analysts, consultants, and researchers in ministries or embassies.
This first year of the MSc International Studies cycle is professionalizing, the student has to do several months of internship.
During the first year, HEIP encourages its students to carry out their professional experience in an NGO, a company or a public institution in order to further their career plans. In the second year, they will have a real goal of professional integration. Each field of expertise continues into the second year of the MSc program in one of the specializations offered or as part of a double degree with one of our partners.
Beware! The international admission procedure only concerns you if you are not a French citizen and you live outside of France.
