MSc Cycle1st year – Political Studies
Page updated on April 22, 2022
Political Science & Public Affairs
This first year allows students, beyond a classical approach to the political and institutional world, to understand and master the major political balances and issues, the very specific processes of political decision making, and the fundamental drivers of public opinion in this area.
Upon graduating from the MSc Political Science & Public Affairs program, our students go on to become heads of state and government, leaders of international organizations, territorial attachés, magistrates, etc.
This first year of the MSc Political Studies program has the dual objective of specializing and professionalizing students.
At the end of this year, the student is required to complete several months of internship. HEIP accompanies and encourages its students to carry out their professional experience in an NGO, a company or a public institution in order to further their career plans. In the second year, they will have a real goal of professional integration. Each field of expertise continues into the second year of the MSc program in one of the specializations offered or as part of a double degree with one of our partners.
