What is an MSc Political Communication & Influence?

This program is designed for future political communication executives: communicating with the general public and advising politicians, building a communication strategy for an electoral campaign, managing public and political communication, managing influence communication, setting up communication devices for the images and public perceptions of political and social objects, managing the challenges of crisis communication or lobbying…

The second year of the MSc program allows students to specialize in a particular field of activity. An internship can be completed for this program.

The course of the MSc Political Communication & Influence

The year consists of:

lectures

TD (Tutored Work) courses in small groups
group work
e-learning
seminars
face-to-face courses

Throughout the year, students are evaluated through continuous assessment. At the end of each semester, mid-term exams, case studies or oral exams are the methods used to evaluate the students.

Each fundamental course (lectures) is associated with tutorials in small groups and specialized conferences.

Each semester, in addition to lectures, seminars and tutorials, in French and English, students are accompanied in :

Their preparation for the professional world and the search for an internship (between 4 and 6 months)
In the realization of individual or collective projects
In the organization of a series of conferences around public figures.

The prerequisites of the MSc Political Communication & Influence

Applications for the first year of the MSc program are open to holders of or in the process of obtaining a BAC+4 (240 ECTS) or an equivalent foreign degree in humanities, law, social sciences, politics or economics.

To enter the MSc 2, students must put together an application and take an oral exam. All the details are explained in the MSc Admission page.

If a new student: the candidate obtains the results of the competition 4 weeks after presenting his/her file to a jury

If you are a former HEIP student: the re-enrollment platform is open from May 1 to July 16, 2022.
